In the presence of Vishwa Samudra Engineering Pvt. Ltd., the first cabin for the urban cable car in the northern Indian city of Varanasi was unveiled at Bartholet Maschinenbau AG in Flums.
The total length of the ropeway project is 3,660 meters and is designed for a maximum capacity of 3,000 passengers per hour and direction. The approximately 150 panoramic „Design by Porsche Design Studio“ cabins with ten seats travel at six metres per second and connect five stations.
