IN DETAIL

On behalf of National Highways Logistics Management Ltd, . we have successfully secured a 100-million-dollar ropeway project between Bartholet Maschinenbau AG and Vishwa Samudra Engineering. As India’s first urban cable car in 2025, it will drastically reduce the travel time between the main train station and Godowalia Chowk station, one of the busiest routes. This ropeways with a total length of 3,660 meters is designed for a maximum capacity of 3’000 passengers per hour and direction. The approximately 150 panorama cabins designed by Porsche Design Studio with 10 seats will connect the 5 stations and sometimes hover up to 40 meters above the existing buildings of Varanasi. The project is estimated to cost 100 Million USD.
